Congratulations to Elliot Health System’s Radiology Team and Kristen Jordan, the 2020 Spirit of Philanthropy Award Recipients!
These awards recognize an employee, volunteer, or physician who has helped to promote the fundraising efforts of the Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation and embodies the spirit of philanthropy and the Elliot mission.
The Elliot Radiology Team played a major role in making the 2019 Walk for Hope such a success, finishing as the top team and raising over $9,200. The team walked in honor of their beloved colleague Dr. Luedke, a touching tribute to him and a testament to their commitment to the important work being done at the new Solinsky Center for Cancer Care.
Kristen Jordan, Oncology Research Coordinator and Program Assistant at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care, was also presented with the Spirit of Philanthropy Award. Kristen was instrumental in promoting the 2019 Walk for Hope throughout the hospital and the community. Her energetic spirit was contagious as she took a lead role in organizing the cancer center Walk team, “Beaming with Hope,” raising over $2,400 through tie dye shirt sales, candy sales, and individual donations!
