October is Physical Therapy Month, a time to recognize the amazing work of SNHH’s 44 Physical Therapists, three Physical Therapy Assistants, and two Physical Therapy students. This year also marks the 100th anniversary of the American Physical Therapy Association!
Our Physical Therapy staff provide skilled services to patients of all ages. They care for inpatients at Southern NH Health, as well as patients at our six outpatient Rehab Clinics. Our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants provide care to patients with a variety of orthopedic/sports, neurological, and oncology diagnoses. Our PTs and PTAs received specialty/advanced training in a variety of services including dry needling, Graston, wheelchair assessment, vestibular, wound care, lymphedema, osteoporosis, incontinence, and women’s health.
Our PTs, PTAs, and PT students make a difference in the lives of so many inpatients and outpatients by promoting functional independence and improved quality of life.
