The holiday season is all about giving back and bringing joy to those around us. As a special thank you this year, Southern New Hampshire Health has a turkey giveaway, where employees are given a $20 gift certificate for a turkey or ham.
Determined to brighten up the holidays for those struggling, more than 120 Southern New Hampshire Health employees donated their turkey giveaway vouchers.
“Our local nonprofits were so excited to be offered vouchers,” said Betsy Houde, Director of Community Partnerships. “We decided to reach out to organizations that are sometimes forgotten during the holidays but are critical to our mission.”
Vouchers will help feed individuals and families served by Bridges, Family Promise, Front Door Agency, Marguerite’s Place, Nashua Children’s Home, Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter, and Revive Recovery.
“Heartfelt thanks to the Southern employees who continually step up to help those that need an extra boost,” Houde added. “Especially at a time when our folks can use a boost too. I’m so proud to work here.”
