The Elliot Shines a Light on Patient and Staff Safety with Optimum-UV Enlight System
Elliot Health System is one of just a handful of hospitals in New Hampshire to use the Optimum-UV Enlight System to clean patient rooms, procedure rooms, and offices. The system uses UV light to kill HAI-causing pathogens like C. difficile, MRSA, VRE, and CRE. The technology is used after manual surface disinfection for an added level of clean to keep both hospital patients and staff safe from infection. In this video, the Elliot’s Director of Environmental, Food and Nutrition Services Jeff Demers explains how it works.
