Respiratory Therapy: Front and Center During the COVID-19 Pandemic
At both Elliot Health System and Southern New Hampshire Health System, SolutionHealth’s Respiratory Therapy Teams can be found in our EDs, ICUs, medical floors, and throughout the hospitals. Any time a patient has difficulty breathing, a Respiratory Therapist is there. They are charged with intubating, extubating, and administering any of a dozen different therapies.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been front and center, supporting patients struggling to breathe with their COVID-19 symptoms. Our respiratory care practitioner teams across the system have supported patients during the COVID-19 pandemic and every other day of the year! They have done an incredible job implementing their unique skills and thoughtfulness needed to support patients during these unparalleled times. Every day, they remain professional, thoughtful, and committed to staying ahead of the curve. We thank them for their unwavering support to meet the challenges we face!
