It’s almost time to celebrate National Public Health Week, a national campaign that’s celebrated the first full week of April. It’s a time to recognize the contributions public health make and commend their efforts in our communities.
To honor Public Health Week, the City of Nashua’s Division of Public Health and Community Services is inviting our staff and the Greater Nashua community to participate in the Greater Nashua Public Health Week Walking Challenge from Monday, April 5 to Friday, April 9. This year, the walking challenge is open to all City of Nashua Employees and Community Partners within the Greater Nashua Region.
Check out this video invitation from the City of Nashua Mayor, Jim Donchess, inviting you to participate! To walk, all you need to do is sign up online by Wednesday, March 31st, then track your steps each day during Public Health Week. This year, the top five walking challenge participants will receive a gift basket. Sign up now.
