Every March 30, on National Doctors’ Day, we celebrate our incredible physicians across SolutionHealth. Though the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is preventing us from celebrating in-person, please join us in recognizing them for the tremendous job they do each day.
The first Doctors’ Day was held on March 30, 1933, by the Barrow County Auxiliary in Windsor, Georgia. It was celebrated by mailing cards to physicians and their spouses. An executive order was later signed in October 1990 designating March 30 as “National Doctors’ Day.”
SolutionHealth physicians have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic with unprecedented selflessness, resilience, and compassion. Despite the challenges they have faced they have stepped up to care for our patients and the community during these trying times.
