It’s Red Ribbon Week®, the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention campaign, taking place this year from October 23 through 31.
This year’s theme—“Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free.™”—was chosen from hundreds of submissions through a national contest to submit a unique slogan that captures the essence and mission of the campaign.
On Thursday, October 22, youth groups from Nashua Police Athletic League (Nashua PAL), Revive Recovery, and Nashua Prevention Coalition planted more than 50 red tulip bulbs in two different areas around Southern New Hampshire Health’s campus. They planted the tulip bulbs in celebration of Red Ribbon Week’s “Plant the Promise” campaign. By doing this, students are showing their drug free commitment.
