SolutionHealth is pleased to announce that the Commission on Cancer (CoC) recently awarded reaccreditation to the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot, the Manchester arm of the SolutionHealth Cancer Institute.
The CoC is a consortium of professional organizations dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for cancer patients through standard setting, which promotes cancer prevention, research, education, and monitoring of comprehensive quality care.
This year, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Solinsky Center’s survey was conducted virtually. The surveyor spent a full day assessing the center’s compliance with the 38 CoC standards that must be met with supporting documentation.
SolutionHealth Cancer Institute Executive Director Marsha Clements, RN, MSN/Ed, PhD, OCN, attributes their successful survey to the staff at the Solinsky Center who are committed to providing quality care and creating a positive patient experience day in and day out. “We are so lucky to have such dedicated staff here at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care,” she says. “It takes a village to do the work for a CoC survey, and each member of our team worked tirelessly to ensure we were meeting the standards and providing the best patient care and experience.”
The SolutionHealth Cancer Institute in Nashua is also accredited by the CoC. They anticipate their next survey in June of 2021.
