We’re calling on all staff to assist Southern New Hampshire Health in winning this year’s Downtown Scarecrow Contest in Nashua!
SNHH has one of over 30 scarecrows in this year’s contest. Our scarecrow sports full personal protective equipment (PPE) and a cape to remind everyone that heroes work here!
Online voting is underway right now until the contest ends. Each vote is worth 1 point.
You can also show your support by sharing a selfie. Snap a photo with our scarecrow—ours is located on the first pole outside Citizens Bank—and share it on Facebook or Instagram. Your photo must be set to public and include #DowntownScarecrows. Voting this way is worth 5 points. Anyone who plans to vote with selfies is urged to wear a mask and social distance to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
There are two categories: business and a non-profit/school group. The top three scarecrows in each category will receive a coveted Downtown Scarecrow trophy!
Voting is open until 11:59 pm on October 22. Winners will be announced online on October 23. The scarecrows will remain mounted on light posts on Main Street and in planter beds until after Halloween.
