Congratulations to Julie Snead for Being Selected as Elliot Health Nurse Practitioner of the Year!

Julie Snead serves as Nurse Practitioner for Elliot Gastroenterology. For her commitment to compassionate patient care, and continuously going above and beyond for patients, she is chosen as Elliot Health’s Nurse Practitioner of the Year for 2021. On November 11, Julie was presented with the award, timed with National Nurse Practitioner Week during November 7 – 13.

Julie receives several positive comments from patients each month for the care she provides. Comments, to share just a few, include: “Julie always make me feel important”, “I absolutely trust her and felt a professional connection and compassion that is hard to come by. She is a vital part of my health team and I’m immensely grateful for her knowledge and kindness”, and “I just felt that the provider really was interested in wanting to help with my medical situation that was going on. I felt respected and helped.”

Colleagues share that Julie has a tender way with patients that makes them feel cared for and heard. Staff at Elliot Gastroenterology have a great deal of admiration for her.
