Recently SNHH welcomed three new members into the Quarter Century Club! Each of them has been employed at SNHH for 25 years!

Congratulations to Lori Burke, Deb McHugh and Ellen Denis!

Lori Burke, Secretary, Hudson Rehab Center:

Favorite flashback/memory:

It is nearly impossible for me to pick just one memory from the last 25 years.  One flashback or memory I have is the Hearts and Holly event that used to take place. The friendships that have been made through events like that where other family members attended as well is a memory I still carry with me. I guess I’d have to say that most of my favorite memories involve the friendships that have continued after all these years.

What inspires me today at SNHH?

Very often, patients will come for therapy not knowing what to expect.  They may be nervous and not sure how therapy will help them.  It’s inspiring to watch as they progress and begin feeling better.  I’m fortunate to be part of a team that is dedicated to helping patients reach their goals and have met so many nice (and appreciative) people along the way.

Deb McHugh, Manager, Centralized Services, Foundation Medical Partners:

Favorite flashback/memory:

My favorite memories are of the holiday parties we use to have and the baskets we made to raffle off.  We raised a lot of money for charity and also engaged in a friendly competition to win one of the coveted trophies.

What inspires me today at SNHH?

I love working at SNHH. The quality of care given to the patients is exceptional. We have a wonderful group of people to work with.

Ellen Denis, Clinical Assistant, Pre-Op/PACU/PAS

Favorite flashback/memory:

When I first started in Endoscopy, I had a wonderful instructor, Alma Bradley, who taught me my position and always put smiles on our faces, and there were lots of laughs.  It was great working with that group.

What inspires me today at SNHH?

The many years I have worked here and seeing the different changes and technology to better serve our community.
