Volunteer Spotlight: Effie Hall – 12 Years of Volunteering at SNHH!

Effie Hall is one of SNHH’s dedicated volunteers and has now been with us for 12 years and given over 2,000 hours of her time!

Effie grew up in Natick Massachusetts and was married there.  She and her husband had three boys. She also has three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Her best moment in life was having her first son. One son lives in Franklin and one in Hudson, unfortunately one passed away.

During World War II, Effie volunteered as a Red Cross nurse and continued with them for 20 years.

Effie worked as a bookkeeper in the financial district of Boston for years and then for the telephone company. Her husband was transferred to New Mexico, NJ and then to Merrimack, NH. As a child she summered in Newfound Lake in Bristol and enjoyed tenting there.

Thank you Effie for your time and dedication to volunteering here at Southern New Hampshire Health over the past 12 years!
