You still have a chance to join Elliot Health System’s Decontamination Team!
Employees who sign up will learn how to properly decontaminate people who come to the hospital following exposure to hazardous materials. They will also be trained to use the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) in practice sessions and during quarterly drills.
Each member plays an important role in the team, so everyone is encouraged to cross-train for the various roles.
The next two-day training session is September 28 and 29.
