We all know how important screenings are, but many have put off their appointments due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
To help, the deNicola Breast Health Center at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center is holding employee mammogram screening days from April 26 through the 30th.
According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancers. Currently, the average risk of a woman in the United States developing breast cancer sometime in her life is about 13%. This means there is a 1 in 8 chance a woman will develop breast cancer. Early detection is key to maximizing your breast health and minimizing your chance of developing breast cancer.
Every woman age 40 or older should have an annual mammogram. Please call the deNicola Breast Health Center at 603-577-2830 and make sure that you say you’re scheduling an employee appointment.
