ALS is a devastating nervous system disease that affects thousands of people worldwide.

This October, you can do something to help! SolutionHealth is participating in the virtual Walk to Defeat ALS on October 10.

Scott Lever, MSFM, Mechanical and Utility Systems Manager, at Southern New Hampshire Health explains why he walks:

“My father-in-law passed away in 1974 after a lengthy fight with ALS. I learned as a teenager the impact ALS caused my girlfriend’s (now wife’s) family before and following her father’s death. So many of us have been touched in some way by this insidious disease. Some say that researchers are on the verge of finding a treatment, or better yet, a cure. I walk to help to achieve that goal.”
