Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and Elliot Health System (who make up SolutionHealth) are participating in a national trial to determine if plasma can be used to treat COVID-19 patients.
The hospitals are teaming up with the Mayo Clinic for the trial.
Southern New Hampshire Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Timothy Scherer recently spoke to WMUR to discuss the new trial and how the process works.
