More than 75 employees generously donated to support the 38 families identified by Ryder as having lost almost everything. Thirty boxes filled with bags of clothes, sheets, towels, diapers, gift cards and more were shipped down to Ryder this week. Due to the significant value of these items and gift cards, conditions of Humacao, PR, and the concerns of Ryder administration that these donations might not make it to the hospital; we were fortunate to have a small group from SNHH head to PR to hand deliver these items to their employees.
We are happy to confirm that everything was received along with a check for $10,000 to support their employee assistance fund. While they still have a long road ahead, they were so very grateful for our kindness and support.
