CEO, Foundation Medical Partners.

If you could be anywhere for one day, where would you be?

At our Farm in Vermont, outside in the fields or in the woods, surrounded by family and friends enjoying each other and nature.

Favorite Movie?

I don’t really watch movies that much, I can’t sit still that long.  I like to watch movies that make me and others around me laugh – nothing too stressful or too teary.

Favorite Junk Food?

My Polish relatives would cringe that I would call this “junk food” but assuming you mean something that is really delicious and kind of bad for you – my secret pleasures are kielbasa, golabki, pierogi, haluski – lots of butter and fat I’m afraid, but my mouth is watering thinking about it.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

Gone to Alaska with not much of a plan for 10 days and hiked with my son Tom.

What was your first job?

Waitressing at a diner, they made me the shift supervisor at 16. My first healthcare job was a Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, New Hampshire in the Computer Department (that’s what they called it, not “IT”).  That was in 1985 the year I made healthcare my career and my passion.

Farthest you’ve traveled?

According to the map, Australia – when Cristi was doing a semester abroad I joined her for a couple of weeks – fun trip!

Favorite Band?

I don’t really have a favorite – my music tastes are pretty eclectic, I listen to a lot of 70’s & 80’s rock and roll, but I also listen to contemporary rock and roll when I exercise.  Then there are the old Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darren and a bunch of oldies playing in our house.  The only thing we don’t do is country – sorry country fans.

Last concert attended?

I don’t do big concerts, but we got to a lot of smaller venues – I think it was John Pizzarelli, and we recently saw North Shore Accapella.

Favorite Book?

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

Favorite Sport to watch on TV? Sports?

I guess I have to say football if the Patriots are playing or baseball if it is the Red Sox, but I have the “sit still” challenge, so I don’t watch much sports – or much TV.

What would you sing at Karaoke night?

Are you kidding?  But my husband and daughter are fun to watch – any oldie, jazz ballard or crooner standard – they nail it!

Top 3 TV Shows?

Fixer Upper, Project Runway and Survivor – when I do have a chance to watch TV.

If you could be anything (or have one job) for a day, what would you be/do?

I like what I am doing right here, right now.  I am doing what I love, feeling grateful to be able to make a difference, and working with people I really connect with and have shared values with.  I don’t need to be anywhere else.

Your 10 year old self wanted to be a…?

Teacher.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I don’t have very many secrets, and the ones I still have I am certainly not going to disclose here.  If someone wants to know something about me, hopefully they feel comfortable enough to come up to me and ask.
