Each year, New Hampshire Magazine, in partnership with the New Hampshire Nurses Association, honors that heroes of the state’s healthcare community with their excellence in nursing awards. The awards recognize nurses who go above and beyond to comfort, heal, and educate. Among this year’s recipients is one SolutionHealth nurse.
Please join us in congratulating Jennifer Krueger, BSN, RN, CPN, on winning the Excellence in Nursing Award for Pediatric and School Nursing. Krueger has worked in the Pediatric Unit at Elliot Health System for five years, and has been with the organization going on eight years.
“I didn’t know I was nominated by my manager until New Hampshire Magazine announced that I won the award. It’s very exciting and such an honor. You work hard every day and try to make a difference for your patients. It’s nice to be recognized for my work. I truly appreciate my boss’s recognition. She is always supporting us,” Krueger says about winning the award.
Being in pediatrics she hasn’t seen many COVID-19 patients, but she has an important message to other nurses who are on the frontlines, “Keep up the excellent work. I know everybody is exhausted and probably stressed, so take care of yourself and give yourself time to process everything that’s going on over the last year and take time to relax and de-stress outside of work.”
New Hampshire Magazine is holding a virtual ceremony on May 20 to recognize all winners.
Congratulations, Jennifer! Thank you for being an incredible care giver to patients in our community.
