SolutionHealth is celebrating the 46th Annual Celebration for National EMS Week. From May 16 through the 22 we are honoring those frontline heroes dedicated to providing emergency medical care that saves so many lives every day.
This year’s EMS Week theme is “THIS IS EMS: Caring for Our Communities.” This theme is particularly meaningful now as it reminds people that our EMS teams are still here to respond, support, and care for the needs of our communities.
New Hampshire’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system is made up of 300 career and volunteer agencies with 5,478 licensed EMS professionals. Each year, these dedicated individuals respond to over 250,000 calls for service to the citizens and visitors of the Granite State. The NH EMS community is known nationally for progressive, evidence-based emergency care and are highly trained to care for the most critically ill and injured patients.
