The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged us in ways we didn’t think was possible. Our work lives have changed, our personal life have been affected, but one thing has remained constant—your dedication to helping the community.
Laura Truhlar, PharmD, BCCP, a clinical pharmacist with a focus in critical care at Elliot Health System, has been playing an essential role during the pandemic.
“This experience demonstrates the essential role of the pharmacist, and reminded me why I became a board-certified critical care pharmacist—to provide the best care possible for our patients who need it the most,” Truhlar explains.
In a podcast with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, she described working through the COVID-19 pandemic and how she encouraged self-care at The Elliot. Read her story and listen to the podcast here.
