Join us this October for the virtual Walk to Defeat ALS. ALS is a devastating, and fatal, nervous system disease that affects the brain and spinal cord and results in loss of muscle control.
On October 10, Team SolutionHealth will participate in the virtual Walk.
Rich Durant, HVAC Mechanic, at Elliot Health System explains the personal reason for walking:
“I’m walking to support someone very close to me. My girlfriend, Maria was diagnosed three and a half years ago with ALS. I’m walking to raise money and awareness so Maria and others affected by ALS can have a cure. I encourage others to walk this year to show support for those who have been affected by ALS. The walk is once a year, it’s fun and it’s simple. Every walker brings us closer to finding a cure. Please join me this year in taking steps to finding a cure.”
