This holiday season, our community has shown our health care heroes they are appreciated! Both Elliot Health System and Southern New Hampshire Health have received dozens of handwritten notes, thank you cards, words of encouragement, and yummy treats.

Caption: A very special thank you to the Bixby, Beland, Koehler, Shaw, and Dalrymple families. Each year they gather at Thanksgiving to choose an organization or organizations to donate to. This year, they chose The Elliot’s front line staff. Many handwritten thank you cards with words of encouragement and gratitude were delivered, each with a token of their sincere appreciation. It is families like these that keep our staff’s spirits up as they weather the storm of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Caption: The Nashua NH Chapter of the Daughters of Penelope Philanthropic Organization donates several hundred snack bars for health care staff working in the Emergency Department and ICU. The Daughters of Penelope is a national organization formed in 1929. The organization helps with natural disaster relief, raising funds to eliminate life threatening diseases, and making significant contributions to our local municipalities.
