A big thank you to all the amazing volunteers and employees across SolutionHealth who helped Heidi Kukla, ICU RN at Elliot Health System, create thousands of disposable gowns for frontline workers.

Over 50 volunteers from the Elliot and SolutionHealth, and a few paid employees from Southern New Hampshire Health, worked over a five-week period. Together they created 16,000 gowns. Kukla says, “Those gowns saved the health system over $55,000 and more importantly saved the hospital from running out.”

Sue Barnard, a per diem nurse at the Elliot, put together this video as a tribute to the volunteers for their amazing contribution to the safety of our front line staff.

Heroes truly do work here!
