Over 900 lbs of Candy Collected for Operation Gratitude!

Above Sue Diehl, AVP of Operations for Foundation Medical Partners and former Captain in the US Army Medical Service Corps and Medical Director of Immediate Care, Dr. Melissa Wu prepare the candy for donation.

Immediate Care was proud to once again support Operation Gratitude’s Halloween Candy Collection. Last year the seven locations collected more than 700 pounds of sweet treats! Taking candy from children is usually frowned upon, but teaching kids the value of giving back by donating their excess Halloween candy in support of U.S. Troops and First Responders is a win-win for kids, parents, and Healthcare providers alike.

This year, 912.6 lbs of candy were collected which is about 200 lbs more than last year!

A HUGE THANKS goes out to all who donated to and participated in ‘Candy for a Cause: Immediate Care Halloween Candy Collection for Operation Gratitude’.
