Established in 2019, the Spirit of Philanthropy award recognizes an employee, volunteer, or physician who has helped to promote the fundraising efforts of the Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation and embodies the spirit of philanthropy and the Elliot mission. Those we honor support the Foundation through their own personal donation, raising awareness, and/or volunteering.

We are thrilled to announce this year’s award recipient, Darrell Grande! Darrell has been a long-time supporter of The Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation, volunteering on the Golf Classic Committee and supporting the annual iGive employee giving program for over 18 years. Through the pandemic, Darrell’s contributions professionally to The Elliot have been critical, overseeing procurement of PPE through unprecedented supply chain delays.

Darrell joins previous award winners, Sharon Kostansek, Kristen Jordan, and The Elliot Radiology Team who have all demonstrated exceptional support for the philanthropic mission of The Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation.

We are overjoyed to present Darrell with the 2021 Spirit of Philanthropy Award and hope you’ll join us in congratulating and thanking him for his extraordinary support and contributions to The Elliot!
